Kewabotonia is a genus of Kew dresses, primarily characterized by the lack of a ventral medial row of buttons that are present amongst the Kewidae, and the presence of a dorsal zipper, also not present in Kewidae. It consists of three species, for each make showcased on Nina Lee’s blog.

Kewabotonia’s placement in Kewoidea is on phylogenetic grounds, which overrides Kewoidea’s required ventral medial button row.

• Kewabotonia zingibera Lemuria, 2026; wb. Gingerthread Girl
  • K. zingibera is black, with low-density white dots scattered across the dress. The species epithet, zingibera, is derived from Latin zingiberi (“ginger”). The original blog post and tutorial remain available on the Wayback Machine. The Gingerthread Girl remains active on Instagram.
